1-Day "LETTING GO" WORKSHOP for Spiritual Singles
Sat., Jan. 26th, 9:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Whether you're trying to decide whether to end a relationship, or your relationship ended within the past year or two, this workshop will help you move forward into 2008 with a positive attitude and valuable information that will affect your future dating experiences, such as:
* 4 Kinds of Behavior that Predict Divorce or Breakup
* Guidelines for Ending a Relationship
* How to Make a Clean Break
* How to Tell if Someone is Emotionally Available
* Burning the Baggage Ceremony
* 6 Foundational Elements Needed for Healthy Love
Format includes: small group discussions, visual aids, music, humor and brief passages of scripture. (Open to singles of all faiths who believe in a higher power.)
LOCATION: Near I-225 & Iliff (address & directions provided upon registration) A comfortable, warm, home atmosphere.
REGISTRATION: $39.00/Advance, (includes lunch, folder & handouts). Space is limited, so you will want to reserve your spot early.
SCHEDULE:
9:15-9:30 - Check-in & Get Acquainted
9:30-11:30 - Healthy Goodbyes - Learn the 4 kinds of behavior that predict divorce/break-up; how to avoid bad breakups; how to make a clean break; and what to do while you are healing.
11:30-12:00 - Lunch Break
12:00-2:00 - Emotional Availability - Learn how to tell when someone is "emotionally available"; and get better closure on the past. Ends with a baggage burning ceremony.
2:00-4:00 - Blocks to Intimacy - If God were to bring the ideal partner into your life tomorrow, would you be ready for him/her? Why not?
